Ruby James released her sophomore album "Happy Now" produced by Charlie Sexton (Bob Dylan) and housing other power house players such as Mike Thompson (The Eagles) and Will Sexton in May of 2010. An album truly bringing you out of the darkness and into the light. Ruby surrounds herself and performs with such artists as Patty Griffin, Rosie Flores, Wanda Jackson, Bill Carter, Jim Lauderdale, Victoria Williams rounding out her limitless styles ranging from rock, sultry soul, blues to rockabilly. Ruby is as unique in her sound as she is to her look. She will do nothing less, than leave a lasting impression and wanting more.

Ruby is getting to release her 3rd album in 2012 entitled “Voodoo Queen”. This album invokes sounds ranging from the 50’s to the late 70’s. Reminiscent of Wanda Jackson to the Rolling Stones. It’s a familiar sound with a new twist on licks. Her stage performance and sound will leave you feeling like you just walked out of an arena.
